The Elements
The four main elements of the world are: Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. These basic elements make up most of the matter on this planet. The Earth needs all of these elements to remain in balance.
Fire
The fire signs of the zodiac are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Thse fierce bunch want the freedom to do what they want, when they want. These free spirits shine bright with drive and passion. They are independent and live life their own ways. They are action oriented and once they have set their goal there's no stopping them. Because they are so adventurous, they don't mind acting on crude ideas. They will either reap the benefits acting on their impulses, or learn a valuable life lesson for slowing down in the future. Failures only fuel to their own fire even more. Whether they win, lose or draw, they always gain something valuable which is a true virtue of the fire signs.
Earth
The earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Earth signs crave stability, cohesiveness and practicality. They are not known for their bright personalities, but they are very dependable. Those who are an earth sign tend to be realistic, grounded and are usually the rock in whatever relationship they are in. They also have the ability to rise to positions of power and control because of their ability to stay focused on their tasks. Earth signs are sometimes considered hard and limited. This harsh perception is held because they are a mostly shy and prefer to focus on reaching their own goals, rather than socialization, but they are loyal to those who are loyal to them.
Water
While the water signs are caring and tend to have a deeply emotional presence, water cannot be underestimated. The swift flowing rivers that give fuel to rapids and continuous pounding of the seas against the shores are clear signd of water's undeniable power. Water is the most powerful element of the four. Emotional wellbeing is the key to the water signs existence. The water signs and the element itself compliment each other to achieve a enormous balance of powerful and subtle feelings to encompass the human experience. The zodiac signs that fall under the water element are truly as versatile as the water that cover most of our planet.
Air
The air signs of the zodiac are Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. They are sometimes considered the communicators and the dreamers of the zodiac elements. They are usually very intelligent, open minded, philosophical, free spirited, and masters of debate.
Sometimes they are so idealistic that their ideas seem unrealistic. They are also as unpredictable as the wind. Air signs tend to get bored very quickly and are always in need of excitement, but when necessary, they can and will focus on a task to accomplish a goal. The air signs purpose is to be a muse. They think of wildly creative ideas and leave it to the fire signs to make their dreams into a reality.
